COVID-19 Safety – The New Norm

The global events created by COVID-19 have led RJA to taking a series of measures aimed at protecting our people, our clients and the wider community to ensure our projects can proceed as normal.

Working from strict Government and World Health guidelines, RJA have implemented policies and processes within the business that our site and office teams have embraced.

Along with regular and clear communication with all staff, Site Sterilisation Protocols, Temperature Checks, Contact Tracing, Splitting Shifts to Minimise Crowding, Promoting Increased Hygiene are just some of the protocols which RJA have implemented to maintain safety.

Safety First

Our commitment is always to achieve a zero-harm outcome which is demonstrated by our record of zero notifiable incidents in safety or environmental.

This is achieved with taking personal responsibility and having a culture that rewards the identification of hazards. This culture is backed by a management system which fosters accountability through reporting, auditing, training and most importantly – taking action.

Risk Managers

Understanding that risk plays a major role in construction, RJA assume the role of Risk Managers in everything we do.

Whilst closely managing safety risks, RJA undertake risk assessment plans for latent site conditions, procurement, shipping,  major construction elements on site and of course now global pandemics.

From experience we believe a key to success is maintaining a collaborative and transparent approach with clients, other project stakeholders and the supply chain.
